Thailand today recorded four new COVID-19 cases, including a French woman on Samui Island and three Thais returning from abroad, according to the CCSA.
One of the three Thais is a 38-year old female domestic worker, returning from Austria and entering state quarantine on October 18th. She experienced nausea and a headache before testing positive for COVID-19 on October 22nd.
The second is a 38-year old woman, returning from Hong Kong on October 21st. Prior to her departure for Thailand, however, she had a cough and anosmia and was quarantined for ten days, until October 13th. She tested positive upon arrival in Thailand.
The third case is a 26-year old Thai woman, returning from Hong Kong on October 21st and testing positive on the same day.
Cumulative infections in Thailand, to date, are 3,731, with 3,529 recoveries. 143 others are still being treated in hospitals. The country’s COVID-19 death toll remains 59.
